 Summer is arriving, COVID restrictions are loosening and we feel it’s time for something good.

We’re loading up the goodies for our Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale starting on 25^th November. Keep that bungy cord at the ready so that you can jump right into your early access invite.

Check this out! Our new CC2U Express service will be whizzing coffee parcels around Auckland during the Black Friday sale. It’s the Kiwi as solution to a new problem.

The phrase “it pays to shop (and ship) early” is a goodie in these times. We’re introducing the idea of scarcity which is now new abnormal.

It’s Sale Time! Black Friday & Cyber Monday

Every coffee drinker in New Zealand likes to stock up for Christmas. We all love having family around (in the back yard!) and sharing the treats. As we always like to say “grannies coming and she’ll be thirsty”

We know that at some stage you’ll need to put that big order in. Black Friday & Cyber Monday (BFCM) is a big American shopping event that happens late November. Us Kiwis have taken BFCM to heart and it is now the biggest online shopping weekend on the New Zealand calendar.

We are going to so a great BFCM sale so that you can load up on the tasty treats. This new scarcity thing means that it won’t be unlimited. We will make available all the coffee we can spare so that you can get stuck in. The reality is that once its gone it will be gone. (And we sure do expect to sell out).

The most limited lines will be Blend 9, 10 & 12

24 Early Access will start on Wednesday 24th of November at 9am.

Public Sale will begin at 9am 25th November.

Introducing CC2U Express

Cam and the team have done a phenomenal job creating our central Auckland distribution centre. At the end of another busy day, they were watching the courier driver load the packages into his van, knowing that the problems at NZ Post meant they were going to take a while to get delivered. Someone said “we could deliver these faster ourselves”. Boom! From a simple comment came a great idea.

Here’s CC2U Express! Our home made Kiwi delivery service is the fastest way that your coffee can be delivered during the Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale.

We’re rustling up some keen as students from Auckland Uni, dressing them in some natty high vis apparel, and letting them loose in the streets of Auckland. With the sole focus of whistling your coffee right to your door over the BFCM weekend.

From Warkworth to Pukekohe. Your coffee will be hand delivered as soon as we can - same day, next day or maybe the day after.

When you hear that polite knock on the door, and look out to that socially distanced friendly wave, that’s not just the spotty face of someone with a huge student loan (dressed in high vis). That’s the face of the future for Kiwi ingenuity.

We’ve got some pretty flash tech too. You can watch your parcel with live tracking and we’ll text you 10 minutes before your coffee arrives.

CC2U Express is the good fun idea that we can all get right into it. Doing good for NZ. Jobs for Kiwis. Taking pressure off NZ Post. Pushing boundaries. It’s all good stuff.

Scarcity, The New Ab-Normal

The days of our suppliers rocking up to the factory and pumping out unlimited amounts of tasty capsules is gone. Coffee, capsules, packaging, people are now harder to get on time, in the right place and in the quantities we need. This is the reality of the well-known global shipping issues. Even when it all comes together NZ Post are so pumped that they are delayed in getting parcels around New Zealand.

This is our new ab-normal!

We’re on to it. We’re building up our stocks as fast as we can go. It’s just inevitable that shortages may well happen.

November is a particularly busy time for us as be build up to Black Friday. It’s highly likely that there will be shortages on some blends.

A polite request. NZ Post have a phenomenal system and they support the lives of many happy Kiwi households. However, this is a pandemic. Let’s cut them some slack and accept that some parcels may take the tiki tour getting to us. As usual, we’ll be all over the journey of ever package and watch it right to your door.
